Purpose of the class is to have fun, learn exercises to stretch, strengthen, and improve balance, to help children control the movements of their bodies, and to learn techniques for relaxation. In this class, parents have the opportunity to learn with your child, support him or her, and share some quiet moments together.

Cost of class is $60 for 4-class series

Class is taught by Louise Goldberg, MA, Registered Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, who has been providing relaxation training to exceptional students and their teachers in the Broward County Schools since 1981. She has taught yoga at the Dan Marino Center Day Camp and the Boca JCC Camp Kavod since 2003. Louise has developed Creative Relaxationsm, a yoga-based video for children with special needs, and is co-author of Stop and Relax, a kit for relaxation training, used in many autism programs in the Broward schools. She has been published in the International Journal of Yoga Therapy for her work with children. Louise offers group and private classes.
