Relaxation for Kids
Have you ever noticed how often adults tell children to calm down, relax, be still, or focus? But when do we teach children how to do these things? Relaxation is a skill like reading, math or basketball. Through instruction, understanding and practice, students can learn to be calmer and more focused.
Partners Yoga Class for Kids and Parents: For children with special needs, anxious learners, and others
Purpose of the class is to have fun, learn exercises to stretch, strengthen, and improve balance, to help children control the movements of their bodies, and to learn techniques for relaxation. In this class, parents have the opportunity to learn with your child, support him or her, and share some quiet moments together.
Family Yoga: For children and parents, grandparents or others
You and your children (from pre-school and up) will work as partners and individually to stretch, strengthen and balance your bodies and minds. In some areas your children will learn from you, and sometimes you will learn from them! Purpose of the class is to have fun, learn exercises to help children control the movements of their bodies, and to learn techniques for relaxation. In this class, parents have the opportunity to learn with your child, support him or her, and share some quiet moments together. At least one parent must attend for each family unit--more are welcome!
