Relaxation Now is the therapeutic program created by Louise Goldberg, MA, ERYT 500, an educator, licensed massage therapist and certified Yoga instructor practicing for over three decades in South Florida.
Louise is founder of Creative Relaxation®, the program for teaching therapeutic Yoga techniques to children, with an emphasis on autism and special needs. Louise attracts yoga teachers, educators, therapists, and parents from around the country to her Creative Relaxation® teacher trainings, which includes certification for Levels 1 and 2.

Louise became a certified yoga teacher in 1981, and has been a consultant to the Broward Schools for over 25 years. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1984. She teaches and has a private practice at the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach, where she is on the faculty of the 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Arts Degree in Reading Education from the University of Connecticut. She is licensed as a massage therapist and hypno-therapist. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-500), and offers advanced trainings and CEU’s to yoga teachers. She has studied cranial sacral therapy at the Upledger Institute and is a certified Infant Massage instructor. She has taught English at the middle school, high school and college levels. For ten years she served as the massage advisory board chair at Atlantic Vocational Center.

Louise is co-author of S.T.O.P. and Relax ©2006, a visual curriculum of yoga-based exercises and relaxation techniques. Developed in collaboration with autism educators and a school psychologist, it is used by educators, parents, yoga teachers, and therapists internationally. Louise also provides trainings for educators to implementS.T.O.P. and Relax © in their schools and programs.

Her DVD, Creative Relaxation® features children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and has been sold throughout the US and the U.K. Louise was published in the International Journal of Yoga Therapy in 2004 for her work with children’s yoga, and is author of Yoga for Children, used in the U.K. She was a presenter for the Autism Society of America in 2008, 2009 and 2011, and "Weekend with the Expert Series" in 2009 – 2011. Louise has taught yoga at the Miami Children's Hospital-Dan Marino Center's summer camp since 2002.

She works as a consultant, leading stress reduction workshops and yoga-based training programs for corporations, medical professionals and educators. In the fall of 2008, she presented a series of PowerPoint lectures at Citrix Corp in a “Healthy Lifestyles” program. In May of 2009, she presented at the Florida State Rehabilitative Nursing Conference.

She has over 20 years experience as a consultant to the Broward County School System, working with both students and teachers in relaxation techniques. She has conducted in-service training for faculty and has been part of the therapeutic team at a Broward County center for severely emotionally disturbed children, grade k-12. In 2001-2, Louise co-developed a pilot yoga-based program for children with autism at a South Florida elementary school, and later brought that program to other local schools. She teaches in-service training to implement the techniques.
